Ronggeng Merdeka

The video shows the setting up of a musical dance-drama staged for community audiences on a street, excerpts of the performance and also interviews with child-performers.

The performance was based on collected oral stories and research on Malaysia's independence. It was jointly organised by by Arts-ED and Ombak-Ombak ARTStudio.
