With its rich experience of using arts in heritage education for school children, Arts-EDโ€™s team was tasked by UNESCO to take on the challenge of researching and designing a set of guidelines for the Integration of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Formal Education.

The objective of this guideline is to provide a variety of simple creative tools and techniques for teachers and educators to enable the understanding, and teaching of intangible cultural heritage in schools.

As a result, the team prepared the guidelines and assisted with the development of country- customized methodologies and materials for teachers to incorporate intangible cultural heritage (ICH).
