Malaysian Community Arts Documentation Project (2014)

A database of practitioners and case studies of individuals and organisations that are moving or stepping into communities to conduct creative activities using the arts as a catalyst for change. The database, which was started in January 2014 focuses on select projects and the administrator-artists who run them.

Arts-ED hopes to start a network of community-based arts and culture workers for knowledge sharing, and to build solidarity as a professional community. We also hope that with this online database of practitioners, we can build greater awareness of the type of work we do, and to facilitate access between would-be funders and collaborators with artists and culture workers.
